The PTC/USER World Event begins at 2:00 pm Sunday, June 13 and continues through 4:00 pm Wednesday, June 16. The following is a list of the planned highlights for this year's event.

 

Concurrent Sessions

Concurrent sessions are organized into two learning tracks:

  • Design & Manufacturing. Covers PTC solutions used throughout the product creation process. Example topics include geometry creation, behavioral modeling, simulation and refinement of product design, peer-to-peer collaboration, visualization, top-down design, large assembly management, change management, mold design, Pro/NC, process for assemblies, data exchange methods, design verification, and various methods of design documentation such as drawings.   • Administration, Technology & Processes. Includes training deployment, system integration (ERP), licensing, installation, system administration, customization, data management and configuration options. We will also address the total process of bringing products to market. Example topics include enterprise collaboration, delivering product quality (six sigma), product lifecycle management, and ROI in product development. Training

  • Wildfire Hands-On Workshop. Attendees can select one of two all new sessions for 2004: "Introduction to 3D CAD", designed for persons with no Pro/E experience and "Introduction to Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire 2.0" for professionals beginning their journey towards becoming a Wildfire power user. All students receive a free 60-day Tryout Edition of Pro/ENGINEER. [More...]

Networking Events

  • Special Interest Meetings. Informal gatherings for PTC/USER members with shared interests in a particular software product, company, industry or geographic region. Any attendee can schedule a meeting; space allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
    Education can be fun!
  • PTC/USER Welcome Reception.

    Renew old acquaintances and make new friends as we kickoff the conference with an evening of fun. Exhibits will be open concurrently. Sunday 6-9 pm.

  • PTC Reception. Following the PTC corporate update, this reception will give you a chance to hobnob with VIPs and your fellow attendees. Monday 5:30-8:30 pm.
  • Meet Your Technical Committee Breakfast. Learn how you can change the course of future development in software modules important to you. Tuesday 7:30-8:30 am.
  • Meet Your Regional User Group Breakfast. Find out about PTC/USER meetings and fellow software users in your neighborhood. Wednesday 7:30-8:30 am.
  • Learning at Lunch. Discuss hot Pro/E topics with our Industry Partners while sharing a meal. Sessions will be held daily during lunch.
