For our twentieth anniversary year, PTC/USER brings the World Event back under one roof. Situated on 230 acres of lush landscape, the Rosen Shingle Creek Hotel in Orlando is Central Florida’s newest and most luxurious meeting destination.
The stunning grand lobby welcomes you into a world of lavish choices, complete with luxury accommodations, enticing restaurants, day spa, fitness center, and a championship golf course. The large outdoor recreation area features two hot tubs and four pools, including a lap pool, zero-entry family pool, kiddie wading pool and quiet lounging pool; a sand volleyball court and two lighted tennis courts. There are also nature and walking trails throughout the property, and fishing is available along Shingle Creek (tackle rental at the hotel if you so desire).
The hotel's convenient location just off Universal Boulevard means attractions such as the Universal Orlando® Resort, SeaWorld® Adventure Park, and Walt Disney World® are all within reach.

PTC/USER has negotiated a special room rate of $169 single/double per night plus tax.
High-speed Internet access is available for a discounted flat fee of $15 for your entire hotel visit.
If you are renting a car, self-parking is complimentary at the hotel, and valet parking is $15 all-day ($18 for overnight parking).
Five-Day Hotel Cancellation Policy. You must cancel five (5) days prior to arrival. If you cancel less than 5 days, your credit/debit card will be charged a one night’s room and tax penalty. Five days prior to your arrival, a one night’s room and tax authorization will be processed on your credit/debit card. Please be aware that an authorization on a debit card will remove funds from your bank account at that time.
Upgrades and Special Requests. Please contact the hotel directly at 407-996-6338 for suite upgrade rates, concierge privileges at a nominal fee and other information. Special requests including king beds, connecting rooms, etc. are not guaranteed and will be granted based on availability on the day of arrival.
BAGS Luggage Check Service. For your return home, Rosen Shingle Creek offers a special luggage check service. Skip the airport ticket counter and check your bags in at the hotel on your day of departure. Participating airlines include Alaska, American, Air Tran, Continental, Delta, JetBlue, Northwest and United. Contact the hotel for further details.

PTC/USER has selected JetBlue as the official airline of World Event 2009. Everyone using JetBlue will receive an additional 5% discount off the lowest available fare by booking online. Just visit www.jetblue.com/promo and use the code PTCUSER2009 when making your reservations. Your travel must be booked by June 6, 2009.
To be able to use the discount, all travel must be booked online. Flights are capacity controlled and any flight is entitled to the 5% discount as long as it fits the criteria outlined below. All flights in a reservation must include valid routes and travel dates in order to receive a discount. If only one direction of travel is valid, please book your valid flight as a one way trip using the promotional code and the other segment as a one way trip without the code.
Car Rental

Airport Shuttle
Mears Transportation is offering World Event attendees a discounted price of $25, good for round-trip transportation between the Orlando International Airport and the Rosen Shingle Creek Resort. Click here to download the official coupon and present it at a Mears Motor Shuttle ticket counter on arrival at the airport, or book ahead online using the instructions from the coupon. The airport locations of the ticket counters are specified on the coupon. Mears Motor Shuttles run 24 hours per day, 7 days per week and depart approximately every 30 minutes.
For return transfers, call Mears at least 24 hours in advance to make a return reservation. Transfers are available 24 hours a day, with departure from the hotel scheduled by reservation. Mears schedules departures from the hotel three hours before your flight. You may also have the hotel’s Guest Services Desk or Concierge help you with your return arrangements. All pricing and policies are subject to change without notice.
Taxis are also available at the airport. The cost of a taxi is approximately $45-50 one-way for up to four people.
