What is PTC/USER?
PTC/USER is the independent voice for users of software produced by PTC of Waltham, Massachusetts. PTC is best known for its Pro/ENGINEER® suite of engineering tools. PTC/USER is the sole entity recognized by PTC as the official worldwide representative of its customers.
Is PTC/USER part of PTC?
No. We are an independent, not-for-profit corporation, organized by volunteers from companies owning PTC products. We are self-funded, our revenues coming from our annual conference, magazine advertising and sponsorship from our Industry Partners.
What is the PTC/USER Industry Partner Program (IPP)?
The Industry Partner Program is your company's connection to the Pro/ENGINEER marketplace. By joining the IPP, your company can get exposure to decisionmakers at thousands of Pro/E customer sites. PTC/USER's many resources include its communications media (web, e-mail, Profiles Magazine) and the annual international conference.
Can my company exhibit at a PTC/USER International Conference?
Qualified companies must join the Industry Partner Program in order to exhibit. The Program offers benefits and services such as:
- exhibit space;
- admission to the conference;
- prepaid and discounted advertising in Profiles Magazine;
- conference packet insertions;
- private hospitality suites; and
- guaranteed time slots in the conference agenda.

How much does membership cost?
Annual memberships cost as little as $2,695 and increase in price commensurate with the services and benefits provided at each program level. Please see the benefit schedule under the Industry Partner Program section for current pricing.
How do I sign up?
To sign up, complete an application and submit it to the PTC/USER office. You can get a copy of the form from the Industry Partner page.
