Richard Childress Racing, a PTC Performance Team, uses PTC solutions for the design-through-manufacturing process of their racecars. PTC provides the teams with software tools for mechanical design, reverse engineering, industrial design, surface modeling, and functional optimization. Richard Childress Racing also uses Pro/MANUFACTURING to generate and optimize NC toolpaths for 3 and 5-axis machining of their entire custom racecar components.

 

Tuesday March 11th, 2003 - WildFire Training Class

We are planning on holding another one in the future.

The cost for the class was $50.  The $50 was just to help with the lunch and shipping the workstations.
Training was be limited to the first 30 people to register and PAY for the class.

Directions!

FROM CHARLOTTE:

Take I-85 North to Highway 52 North (Exit #87).  Take the Welcome Exit (#92).  Take a right from the ramp and continue approximately 3 miles.  Go right on Industrial Drive.  (There will be brown “Richard Childress Racing Museum” signs to help guide you.)

 

FROM WINSTON-SALEM: 

Take Highway 52 South to Welcome (Exit #97).  Take a right at the stop sign and continue for approximately 3 miles.  Industrial Drive will be on the left.  (There will be brown “Richard Childress Racing Museum” signs to help guide you.)

 FROM GREENSBORO:

 From the Piedmont Triad International Airport, start out going West on Airport Parkway.  Take the NC Highway 68 South ramp towards I-40 and merge onto Highway 68 South.  Turn slight right onto ramp and merge onto I-40 West.  I-40 and Business 40 will split, go to the left onto I 40.  Stay on I-40 to Highway 52 South.  Travel South on Highway 52 to Welcome (Exit #97).  Take a right at the stop sign and continue for approximately 3 miles.  Industrial Drive will be on the left.  (There will be brown “Richard Childress Racing Museum” signs to help guide you.)
